About Me.
I was born to teach and have loved every moment in the classroom. With over fifteen years of experience in education, my work has been deeply rooted in elementary education, where I supported students during the most critical years of academic and developmental growth. I have taught in both general education and special education classrooms for grades PreK–12, with extensive experience serving elementary learners.

I also served as the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Coordinator and Local Education Agency (LEA) representative, overseeing IEP compliance and ensuring students received appropriate supports to succeed.

Currently, I am an adjunct college professor, and I homeschool my high school–aged children while overseeing their dual college enrollment. This allows me to guide families with a long-term perspective—from strong elementary foundations through college readiness.
I am a certified North Carolina educator with a Master’s Degree in Special Education and an Autism Spectrum Disorder Endorsement. I was recognized as a High Impact Teacher for three consecutive years and named Teacher of the Year for my district.

Whether supporting elementary skill development, tutoring, homeschooling, test preparation, or dual enrollment, I bring the experience and expertise to help students thrive. Whatever your educational goals, you can count on us to help you get there.
